Spring is nature’s way of saying “Come out to Play”. Just as it is everywhere, Spring is busy breathing new life and beauty into everything at Louisvale. With lovely blue skies, sunshine, bird song and flowers a blooming, Louisvale Wines is bursting with Spring-like excitement to be welcoming guests back to their sensational, lush, and contemporary venue.
Follow the Stone Road to this picturesque setting with a panoramic view of the Cape Folded Mountains and enjoy a delicious meal paired with some crisp pink wines.
This season, Louisvale Wines suggests Stone Road Cinsault Rose 2020. A dry rosé with lively notes of berry and watermelon flavours, this wine pairs perfectly with a fresh garden salad, chicken dishes and seafood.
For those who prefer extra fizz in Springtime, what better way to indulge your senses than with a Louisvale Chardonnay Pinot Noir, MCC Brut Rose NV. Harvested in January 2016, this vibrant rosé MCC offers tastes of strawberries and cherries, with bubbles that are fine and reminiscent of fresh, crisp, red berries and was recently awarded with Double Gold at the Michelangelo International Wine & Spirits Awards. Perfect for that casual lunch or brunch with friends.
These are just two suggestions from Louisvale’s excellent range of wines, any of which may be enjoyed while savouring some delicious food in the Louisvale restaurant. Starters include beetroot carpaccio, and fish and zucchini cakes.
Main courses include slow cooked pork belly, grilled hake or mussel risotto, and, for dessert, you could indulge in Spiced Red Cappuccino (Rooibos Almond Panna Cotta) or the chocolate sponge cake served with Merlot ice cream, among others.
A visit to Louisvale Wines this season will put a spring in your step and leave you feeling energised and refreshed. Enjoy a wine tasting, relish some truly delightful food, visit the Louisvale Deli and just enjoy the spectacular views … as you stop awhile and smell the rosé.
